Tile grouting is one of the toughest places to clean, especially if you have a pet or kids in your home. Vinegar and baking soda

Before going ahead with this cost effective route make sure you know the type of tile that you’re going to be cleaning with this. Tiles that are made of natural stone don’t clean well with vinegar. Also make sure you’re wearing gloves before handling any cleaning agent to avoid irritation.

Firstly put together 3 parts baking soda with 1 part water, once you get a thick solution apply the paste in the grout lines with your fingers. Next make a spray bottle with a solution of 1 part vinegar and 1 part water. Spray this onto the baking soda paste that you’d just applied, after this you’ll notice the solution bubbling, showing you that the cleaning process has begun.

The bubbling should end a couple of minutes after applying the vinegar solution, once it has, apply a tough bristle brush to scrub the grout, toothbrushes also work very well. Once you’re happy and feel that the dirt has gone, use a bucket of water to wash away the solution and you should be left with some nice clean and fresh grout.
